If a man started a dream
house and built the founda
; tion, put up the walls and
never finished the house, you
would think he was foolish.
What a waste!
Yet, how many people
start out with the dream of
f building a vital, healthy faith
lin Christ as a foundation, but
then stop building and nur
turing and allowing God to
nourish that budding faith?
| How foolish! What a waste!

His Presence
FIRST CHRISTIAN
CHURCH
When 0. Henry, the story
teller, was dying, he called
out, “Nurse! Nurse!”
A nurse hurried to his
room and stood beside his
bed. She asked what he
wanted, and 0. Henry said,
“Bring me a candle.”
“Why do you want a can
dle, sir?”
A pause, and 0. Henry
said, “I’m afraid to go home
in the dark.”
As God promised His pres
ence to Moses in Exodus
33:12-16, so He has promised
His presence to us. When we
believe in God through Je
sus, His Son, we know His
presence is always with us.
Agency Denied Certificate

agency had planned to pro

services to patients in their
homes as directed by physi

Investing In Faith-Building
Faith-building requires
disciplined spiritual invest
ments. That is the cost of it,
our payment. If we don’t
make the payments, we de
fault on God.
Why is it that when we get
busy and overworked, over
committed, the causes of
God get cut first? Faith
building requires a forgiving
spirit fashioned after our
Lord. Unforgiven pain and
emotional garbage clutter
too many souls and leave no
room for the power of Christ
to work in them.
The first step in faith in

We need not be afraid of
“going home” in the dark.
Jesus our Lord has promised
His presence for all time.
The writer to Hebrews
added strongly to the words
in Exodus by saying, “For
he (Jesus) hath said, I will
never leave thee, nor forsake
thee.” (Hebrews 13:5.)
Here, then, is our hope,
strength and courage. We
need never be afraid of the
dark night of death, for Je
sus has gone before. Jesus is
the way, and Jesus is the
light, and Jesus is the resur
rection. Because He lives,
we can live also, and all the
time know the power of His
presence.
Lumpkin, White, Barrow
and Jackson counties.
However, the SHPDA
found that sufficient home
based health care services
currently exist to adequately
serve these counties.
A Certificate of Need is
issued by the state to show a
health care project is needed
and therefore approved for
development.
Reviews are conducted un
der Georgia’s Certificate of
Need law, which seeks to
avoid the unnecessary dupli
cation of expensive health
care services. The law helps
insure that changes in serv
ices will foster cost con
tainment and consistency
with community health care
needs.

Sometimes we are too

Well, Jesus says 70 times

me to stand bravely. If I am
