Notice is hereby given that a public
hearing will be held by the Cumming -
Forsyth County Planning Commis
sion on October 29, 1984, in the Jury
Assembly Room, Second Floor, For
syth County Courthouse, Courthouse
Square, Cumming, Georgia, at 7:30
p.m., regarding revisions to Chapter
Four of the Comprehensive Zoning
and Land Use Resolution of Forsyth
County, Georgia. In addition, further
comments may be made by inter
ested parties with regard to the Resi
dential Section, Chapter Five, which
was the subject of a public hearing,
duly advertised, on March 13, 1984. In
addition, further comments may be
made by interested parties/with re
gard to the Definitions Section, Chap
ter One, which was the subject of a
public hearing, duly advertised, on
August 27, 1984.
The current chapter under consid
eration, Chapter Four, divides the
county into various use districts and
contains provisions for converting
current use districts to new use dis
trict classifications.
All persons should realize that
Chapter One, Chapter Four, and
Chapter Five will not be recom
mended for immediate adoption fol
lowing the public hearing. Further
study will be made based upon the
comments received, and changes to
other sections of the zoning regula
tions may be made as further public
hearings on those sections are held.
Interested persons are urged to
obtain copies of the current chapter
under consideration, Chapter Four,
from the Planning Department. Cop
ies so obtained must be returned for
use by other persons. The Forsyth
County Planning Director can answer
questions concerning the draft. The
