Forsyth Central High School hosted last week’s Route 400
basketball tournament. The event was a great success as the
Lady Bulldogs, under coach Jerry Cauley, captured the title.
The boys, playing for the first time under the direction of coach
Bobby Smith, earned a fourth place finish. At the right Forsyth
Central’s Alecia Mullinax and Kristy Watson are sandwiched
between two players from North Springs. At left is Bulldog
coach Bobby Smith talking to his team during a timeout. Below,
in order, are Forsyth Central center Shannon Lindeland (40)
battling for position and Brandon Kemp (11) preparing to score
points against Roswell.
