Mr. and Mrs. Chelsia Norton of Blue Ridge, Ga., would like to an
nounce the engagement and forthcoming marriage of their daughter
Judith Michelle to Joseph Milton Pirkle, son of Mr. and Mrs. Albert
Pirkle ofCumming, Ga. The wedding is set for June 23rd 1990 at Temple
Baptist Church in Blue Ridge. Ga., at 3:00 p.m.
The bride-elect is a former graduate of Fannin County High School
and Dekalb College where she obtained an associates degree of Sci
ence in Dental Hygiene. She is currently practicing at Dent-First in
Duluth, Ga. The groom-elect is a former graduate of Forsyth County
High School and Reinhardt College, where he obtained an Associates
in Arts degree. He also graduated from North Ga. College with a
Bachelor's of Science degree in education. He is employed with For
syth Count}' Board of Education where he teaches seventh grade sci
ence and serves as grade level coordinator. He is currently pursuing
his Master's degree in Administration at Georgia State University.
All friends and relatives are cordially invited to attend. No formal

The groom is the grandson of Mrs. Pauline Haygood and the late Mr.
E. G. Haygood of Dalton and Mrs. Frances Westbrook and the late
Clarence Westbrook of Cumming. He is employed by Floyd S. Pike
Electrical Contractors in the Mt. Airy, S.C.
The wedding is planned for June 17 at 2:30 p.m. at First Baptist in
Cumming. All friends and family are invited to attend.
Hubbard/Wielputz
Cleon and Virginia Hubbard of Cumming announce
the engagement and forth coming marriage of their
daughter, Angela Michelle to Michael Paul Wielputz,
son of Donald and Sherrie Parris of Cumming, and Max
and Cecille Wielputz of Pleasant Hill, California.
The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Mrs. Emmie
Hubbard and the late R.C. Hubbard, and Mrs. Lucille
Reid and the late L.W. Reid. She is a 1985 graduate of
Forsyth County High School and is employed with Han
sard Insurance Agency, Inc. in Cumming.
The future groom is the grandson of Elsie Wielputz,
Judson Rundell, Doris Garcia, and Ruby Parris. He is a
1983 graduate of Forsyth County High School and a 1989
graduate of The Georgia Institute of Technology. He is
employed at the South Atlantic Division Laboratory of
the Corps of Engineers in Marietta.
The wedding will be June 23,1990 at 2:00 p.m. at Cross
Roads Baptist Church. All friends and relatives are

Worley/Mathis
Mrs. Frances Worley of Cumming announces the engagement and
forthcoming marriage of her daughter Rachel Ann to Michael Scott
Mathis, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Gibby Mathis also ofCumming.
The bride-elect is also the daughter of the late John Worley of Cum
ming. She is the granddaughter of Mrs. Kate Worley and the late Paul
Worley ofCumming and the late Mr. and Mrs. Willard Green ofCum
ming. She is a 1986 graduate of Forsyth County High School and is
presently a senior at North Georgia College in Dahlonega where she is
pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Middle Grades Education.
The groom-elect is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. T.R. Mathis of
Cumming and the late Ina Mae McGinnes of Florida. He is a 1983
graduate of Franklin High School in Franklin, N.C. and a 1990 graduate
of Gwinnett Technical Insitute in Lawrenceville. He is presently em
ployed by Impell Corporation Norcross.
The wedding ceremony is planned for Saturday, June 23 at 2:30 p.m.
at Friendship Baptist Church in Cumming. All friends and family are
