She said, “He thinks if he’s convicted he’ll be brand ed a failure, and his life will be ruined because nobody hires a felon.” Then she asked if there were any convicted felons who had turned their lives around and become successful. Here’s my story: In my early 20s, I was convicted of delivering a controlled substance (marijuana). I was not a dealer; I did it as a favor to a co-worker. It was the only time I had ever done such a thing. It was a grave mistake -1 was guilty of a felony - but I lived through it, and will soon complete a 10-year probated sentence. I was depressed and felt like a failure at 24 until a friend told me that he believed in me, but in or der to succeed, I had to believe in myself and pull myself up by my boot Horoscope ARIES(Mar. 21 to Apr. 19) Dealings with those in high position is favored now. Time with my grandson is important to both of us... And, so is his future. My grandfather taught me at an early age how important it is to save for tomorrow. “You never know,” he always said, “what your life may bring.” He made me understand that by planning for future needs, he had more time to en joy the present...particularly fishing with his grandson. Now I am a grandfather, and it is up to me to pass on to my grandchildren the importance of financial planning. That’s why, like my grandfather, I have my Savings Account at Home Federal. The folks at Home Federal helped me to design a savings program that is easy to follow. Their rates are competitive and I always feel like they have my best interests in mind. I feel good about saving for my future at Home Federal. Now, the only thing my grandson and I have to worry about is finding the best spots to fish. LCNOEM r _ am I Dear I Abby m* LspiJ 1 ' m\ straps. And that’s exactly what I did. I sent out resumes and had many interviews in search of a job that paid better than minimum wages.
