It is time to lend a hand again to
Hands Across Forsyth.
For the third year there will be an
opportunity for the community to
reach outduring the holiday season to
help those who are needy in the
county.
The well-organized effort will con
sist of a food drive for Thanksgiving, a
community dinner, and a food and toy
drive in December for Christmas.
The drive is coordinated by the For
syth County Human Resources Coun
cil and led by an organizational team
of Herb Flanders, lan Cowie, Pat Kil
mark, Elaine Langley, and Sister
Kathryn Cliatt. The Department of
Family and Children Services will
also be a big part of the implementa
tion of the events.
The canned and non-perishable
food drive will begin Friday, Nov. 1,
and run until Thursday, Nov. 21. Food
can be dropped off at any of the For
syth County schools or churches and
any participating business. The

hike one of the many trails within the

Your next question is. how do 1 find
