Two actors recognized , „
North Forsyth Northstars are proud to announce that Jeff Lerner and Elisha Weaver, the cast of Jerry Finnegans Sister,
were recently recognized for outstanding acting at the Flegion Competition of One Act Plays at Gainesville High School
in Gainesville. After qualifying for Region Competition on November 7, this cast competed on November 15, for the
chance to advance to state competition. Jeff Lerner was
selected as “Best Actor" for the region for his role as Brian
Dowd. Elisha Weaver was selected as a member of the
region all star cast for her performance as Beth Finnegan.
The public will be given a chance to see this fine produc
tion on Dec. 15, as a part of the Winter Arts program at
North Forsyth High School cafeteria.

enjoyed a night on the town.
The group ate at Lucky China
Restaurant in Roswell and then
attended the play entitled, “I
Remember Mama." The theme
of the evening was Together in
Pursuit of Excellence. Those

Holiday activities planned
at Chattahoochee Center
Looking for fun activities for
your children during the Holiday
Season? The Chattahoochee
Nature Center has the
answer...special December pro
grams include Nature Tales and
Holiday Camp.
Nature Tales are a delightful
series of stories about animals
and plants told by Atlanta area
storytellers. Each hour long ses
sion will include a live animal
demonstration. Nature Tales will
be held Tuesday through Friday,
December 26 - 29 from 4:00 -
5:00 p.m. at the Chattahoochee
Nature Center. There is a $3.00
admission charge for adults and
children ages 3 and up. All chil
dren must be accompanied by an
adult. Pre-registration is required
by Monday, December 18.

Camp! Special activities are
planned for children ages 5 - 11
from 1:00 p.m.- 4:00 p.m. each
day. Included will be nature
hikes, animal demonstrations,
and arts and crafts. Cost per
afternoon: $15.00 mem
bers/$20.00 non-members. Cost
for all four afternoons: $40.00
members/$50.00 non-members.

advance of the holiday camp
