Sealed proposals from qualified General
Contractors will be received by Forsyth
County Board of Commissioners until 2:00
p.m., August 6, 1996 at the Forsyth County
Courthouse, Cumming, Georgia.
A complete set of documents can be
obtained after 2:00 p.m. on July 9,1996 from
the office of the Architect Mayes, Sudderth &

of $150.00 will be charged for the docu
ments. Bids must be accompanied by Bid
Security in the amount not less than five per
cent (5%)0f the base bid. A Performance

Bond, each in the amount equal to one-hun
dred percent (100%) of the Contract Sum
will be required of the successful bidder.
Bonds must be written by a surety company
licensed to do business in the State of
Georgia, have a “Bests" rating of “A” or bet

Treasury Department list of sureties that are
acceptable on bonds for the Federal
Government (Circular 570) and have recom
mended bond limits equal to or in excess of
those required for this project. A Pre-Bid

No bid may be withdrawn for a period of 60
