Forsyth Central HS Band Car
Wash
A car wash to benefit the Forsyth
Central HS Band will be held on
August 3. Beginning at 9 a.m., the
car wash will be held in the
Krystal Parking Lot on the Atlanta

Festival seeking artists and

The sponsors of the 29th annual
Maysville Autumn Leaf Festival

Forsyth County Jaycees
...are now selling advance tickets
for the 16th annual Great
American Children’s Film
Festival. This year “Balto,” an ani
mated Steven Spielberg movie, is
being shown. The festival will be
July 23 and 24 at the Cumming
Cinema 3 in Tri County Plaza. All
donated tickets will be distributed
to local agencies so many under
privileged children can also attend.

After-school program
The North Metro YMCA is
enrolling students for the after
school Prime Time program. The
1-15 ratio program, held until 6:30
p.m., is held in Big Creek,
Chattahoochee, Chestatee,
Cumming, Mashburn, Midway
and Sawnee elementary schools.
Registration fee is $25, and there
is a S4O weekly fee. The program
includes snack, homework time,
sports and games. Holiday camps
