Partners become teachers
The fourth grade of Chestatee Elementary School has Atlanta
Gas Light as their partner in education. They do many wonder
ful things for our school. In November, Eddie Condor visited with
three of his employees Scott Phillips, Ron Watson and Jeff
Dooley to demonstrate their equipment and how they join
pipes together. They then chose some students to play tug-of
war with the pipes to try to pull them apart. After Condor’s expla
nations and demonstrations, the crew moved to the playground
and demonstrated the back hoe by planting a tree donated by
Jim Hendricks at All Seasons Nursery. Condor presented each
student with a ruler and each teacher with a bookbag and an ink
pen. We appreciate all that Atlanta Gas Light does for our stu
dents. Top left, Scott Phillips with students Tommy Jacobs,
Daniel Bailey, Kyle Peek, Michael Carter and Melisa Croft play
tug-o-war. Pictured above with tree (l-r) front, Breanna Thomas,
