Finding the right contractor who will transform your dreams into reality is a |
U real challenge. It requires research, interviewing, negotiation and yards of docu-1
|| mentation.
In today’s economic climate of intense competition, construction services has j
B become an important issue for both builders and their clients. Forsyth County’s |
g Superstructures Inc., considers it important to be involved in the very beginning
U stages of the planning process in order to help each client determine which deliv-1
g; ery method is right for their project.
Superstructures is general contractors specializing in remodeling and additions |
B for residential and commercial properties. With more than 65 percent of I
g Superstructures business coming from word-of-mouth and repeat business, cus- g
B tomers can be sure they’ve landed a reliable, knowledgeable, modem master in I
g Mike Reilly - he’s certainly no amateur when it comes to construction and his I
B credentials prove it. Recommendations and referrals for this company have come I
B from a vast array of credible sources, such as the Cumming/Forsyth County I
B Chamber of Commerce, articles and advertisements in the Forsyth County News, |
B the real estate community and friends and relatives. “We sell them on our design I
B services,” says Reilly.
Many people ask themselves the inevitable questions when thinking of remod-1
B eling or building, “Which remodeling project will be a good investment in our I
B family’s quality of life? Which project will give us the best return? How do we I
B know we aren’t over-improving our house compared to nearby houses? The I
fl answers to these and many other frequently asked questions are spelled out sim-1
B ply by Reilly. He says many of his customers are looking to change a dated look. I
■ “We have people who want a whole new look to their 20-year-old home and we I
I give it to them.”
Since 1982, Reilly and his staff have been providing dependable service to I
■ many people in the county. Reilly recalls that his first construction job was here in I
■ Atlanta installing swimming pools. It was at this job where he learned the basics I
■ of construction. From there, he custom-built homes in Oregon, which furthered I
■ his experience in the industry.
After a client decides to use Superstructures for their construction needs, I
■ Reilly puts a proposal in writing for the customer. “We provide the highest level I
■of material and service within the customer’s budget,” says Reilly. Total price, I
■ payment schedules, product specification, warranties/insurance and workmanship I
■ are all put into writing and the fun begins!
Sometimes the true test of a contractor comes not during the construction of I
I your home or business, but after. Reilly says he stands behinds all of his work. I
■ His in-house personnel includes four employees, who handle all the structural I
■ aspects of the job. According to Reilly, their subcontractors are used so much they I
B are "treated like our own employees. As a general contractor we stand behind I
■ everyone. The customers just call us and we take care of coordinating with the I
■ sub-contractors. They leave the worrying to us,” says Reilly.
Superstructures offers a wide variety of pre-construction and construction ser- 1
■ vices enabling their company to custom tailor all of their clients’ needs, goals and I
■ budget. With the company’s impressive computer programs, clients can visualize I
■ their dreams faster than most traditional methods. Reilly say there is a fair amount I
■ of time spent on the computer. “First, we draw a two-dimensional floor plan, then I
■ we do a more detailed, three-dimensional drawing,” he says.
Recently, Superstructures Inc., became dealers of Phantom Screens, which are j
■ retractable screen doors and are the perfect solution to French doors. Ironically, I
■ Reilly became a Phantom Screens dealer while he was searching for a quality I
■ screen door product for his own residence. Reilly says the screen rolls up into a I
B tube mechanism mounted to the door and the screen retracts into its own casing. I
B “This is the smoothest operation I’ve ever seen. They don’t have any problems I
■ that the other types of screen doors have,” says Reilly. He also said this method I
■ of screening doesn’t take away from the front door/French door views.
As like most of Cumming’s locally-owned and operated businesses, Reilly I
■ enjoys putting back into the community. Just one of his involvements includes the I
B Forsyth County’s Habitat for Humanity, which, he says has been an extremely I
■ gratifying experience for him. ’We’re in the early stages of getting ready for the I
■ next house. The next house will be near Crystal Cove, the same area of the first I
■ house,” says Reilly, construction coordinator for Forsyth County's Habitat for I
■ Humanity project.
Superstructure’s office is located in Town Square Center across from the j
■ Forsyth County Courthouse. They arc open Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. I
■ to 5 p.m. For a free estimate of your building needs, give Reilly a call at (770) I
■ 844-8777 to set up an appointment.
