Elachee Nature Science Center,
located in the 1,200 acre Chicopee
Woods Nature Preserve, is offering
a variety of opportunities to leant
more about nature this summer
Preschoolers: Summer Day
Camp for ages 3,4, and 5.
Weekly sessions filled with activi
ties designed specifically for this
age group...drawing, painting,
singing, creating sand art, move
ment exploration, water play, and
more. Mon-Fri, June 15-Aug. 3, 9
a.m. - noon. Weekly fee.
Children entering Grades R-5:
Summer Day Camp with tradi
tional camp activities, sound sci
ence, and discovery-oriented learn
ing experiences. Hiking, singing,
making crafts, meeting new
friends, seeing nature through new
eyes, and visits from wildlife
experts. Mon.-Fri., June 15-Aug.

nature day camp on a 1,200 acre
woodland nature preserve, is host
ing a preview party for all interest
ed campers and parents on
Saturday, June 13 from II a.m. - 2
p.m. at the Center.
Designed for those interested in
learning more about Camp
Elachee or those returning
campers looking for a little early
summer fun. Plan to stay an hour
or spend the day checking out
what’s planned for this year’s
camp.
