Library
...will hold a Scholastic book
fair on Saturday, June J 3, fea
turing airbrush artist Stephanie

Drama camp
Randy Herrin, drama director
for North Forsyth Middle
School, will host a drama camp
for students in grades 6-8. The
camp will be held June 22-26,
from 9:30 a.m. - 2:30 p.m.
Students will learn a variety of
drama techniques from pan
tomime to improvisation, as
well as performing short skits.
Graduate mix-up
In Wednesday’s edition of the Forsyth County News, senior Joe
Bryson, above left, was incorrectly identified as Andrew Holland,
left. Holland is the recipient of a $40,000 scholarship to George
Washington University. Both Bryson and Holland graduated
from South Forsyth High School last Saturday. Also in
Wednesday’s edition, Jennifer Holt, above right, was incorrectly
identified as Kelli Boling, above center. Holt, who is the secre
tary to the 1997-98 senior class at North Forsyth High School,
addressed those in attendance at the commencement exercises
June 6. Boling was named valedictorian among this year’s grad
uating seniors at NFHS. The Forsyth County News apologizes
for the errors.

Drama and art camp
Yatesy Harvey and Kevin
Whitley, the award-winning
drama team at Forsyth Central
High School, will hold a week
long Drama and Art camp July
13-17, from 9:30 a.m. - 2:30
p.m. for grades K-5. Give chil
dren a start in the performing
arts. Camp will be held at
FCHS. The cost is $75 per
child, and $65 for an additional
child in the same family. Pre-

Services Librarian, and Bella
Bookasaurus, the mascot for
the Forsyth County Public
Library’s Summer Reading
Club, recently entertained stu
dents at Coal Mountain
Elementary School. The pub
lic library staff members
explained the Summer
Reading Club to the children
and told them about the activi
ties which relate to the theme
“Think Big - Read!"

some of the best artists in town?
Camp will be held July 13-17,
from 9:30 a.m. - 2:30 p.m.
Campers will work with a vari
ety of art techniques, including
drawing, sculpture, basket
weaving and more. The cost is
