Recycle your old car and
help save the environment
The National Kidney Foundation is the leader in collecting thou
sands of unwanted automobiles each year that are either sold for re
use or recycled. Taking older cars off the street and out of driveways
reduces emissions and beautifies neighborhoods.
Donate your car, boat, truck or motor home to the National Kidney
Foundation of Georgia (NKFG) and everyone benefits from recy
cling. Cars otherwise earmarked for a landfill re-enter another cycle
of use, creating more efficiency and less waste. Call 1800-488-
CARS from anywhere in the state. NKFG will mail out a packet
complete with a self-addressed envelope for you to fill out and
return. NKFG will then contact you to arrange for a free vehicle
pick-up. Vehicles are auctioned to wholesale dealers or sold for
parts. Donors receive an acknowledgment letter stating the year,
make and vehicle identification number of the donated car for tax
purposes.
Funds raised through the Kidney Cars program support programs
in research, patient services, organ donation, public information and
professional education. Donate your car to the National Kidney
Foundation of Georgia and help save the environment and save
lives.
