3rd Annual
P. I. E. In The Sky Luncheon
The Community Development Division of the Cumming/Forsyth County
Chamber of Commerce will host the 3rd Annual “RLE. In The Sky” lun
i cheon on Friday, April 23, 11:45 AM - 1:30 PM, at the Sawnee Center in
Cumming.
This annual event recognizes Classroom Partners, Partners In Education,
and any business or person who contributed to the education system in
Forsyth County. Teachers of the Year, Corporate and Small Business of the
Year and Volunteer of the Year will be recognized for their exceptional
efforts and participation in the Forsyth County School System.
Sponsors include: Kroger, Billy Howell Ford, Lincoln, Mercury, Inc.,
* - Georgia Probation Management, Inc., McDonald’s, Culver & Grimshaw,
Inc., Regions Bank, Publix, BellSouth, Nationsßank and Chick-Fil-A. If
you are interested in sponsorship of the P.I.E. luncheon contact the
Chamber Office 770-887-6461.
The purpose of Partners In Education is to build communication between
the business and education communities through various programs, field
.., trips and a speaker’s bureau. Partners In Education are businesses/individu
ais that “adopt” entire schools and donate time and supplies throughout the
school year. Classroom Partners “adopt”individual classrooms. Classroom
Partners are only available at the elementary school level.
