Help a Child in Need
... The county will have its
semi-annual training for Court
Appointed Special Advocate
volunteers who are appointed
by a local judge to represent
the best interests of children in
the Juvenile Court system.
Most of the children are
alleged victims of abuse or
neglect and their home place
ments are before the court.
The training begins Sept. 4
and will be every Tuesday and
Thursday from 5:30 to 8:30
p.m. at the CASA office in the
government building at 101 E.
