Tour of Homes
... six homes will be fea
tured in the Polo Fields Tour
of Homes, a benefit for Jesse’s
House, a girls shelter in
Forsyth County, Saturday,
Dec. 13, from 10 a.m. to 4
p.m. The event will feature
tours, holiday musicians,
baked goods, holiday craft
sales and raffle prizes. Tickets
are sl2 and will be available
at the Polo Fields Clubhouse
and shuttle transportation will
be provided to the individual

Holiday gift wrapping
... will be available at
Northside Hospital Forsyth in
the Bennett Education Center
on Wednesday and Thursday,
Dec. 17 and 18, from noon to
4 p.m. The wrapping will be
done by members of the vol
unteer auxiliary. Bring your
holiday gifts (in boxes if pos
sible) and let us turn them into
beautifully wrapped presents
that will save you valuable
time during the busy holiday
season. Wrapping will be rea
sonably priced, and it can be
done while you wait or on a
drop-off/pick-up basis. The
service is available to all
members of the community.

AARP Driver Safety
Program
... a one-day class is being
offered Saturday, Dec. 13,
from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the
Northside Hospital Forsyth,
1400 Northside Medical
Center Dr. in Cumming. The
refresher course is open to
AARP and non-AARP mem
bers. Though the material is
designed primarily for drivers
ages 50 and over, younger
drivers may attend. It provides
many ideas on how to avoid
accidents, drive safely and
updates the motor vehicle
laws. Participants who com
plete the eight hours of
instruction are eligible for a
discount on their automobile
insurance premium. The
course must be renewed every
three years. For reservations,
