Gene Randolph
The Rev. Dr. Gene and
Betty-Byrd Randolph cele
brate their 50th wedding
anniversary. Dr. and Mrs.
Randolph were married in
Norfolk, Va., on Dec. 12,
1953. After his service in the
United States Marine Corps,
with duty in the Korean War,
Dr. Randolph returned to com
plete education requirements
for the Presbyterian Ministry.
During their school years.
Mrs. Randolph worked as an
executive secretary. He and

The couple has two chil
dren, Stephen Edward of
Lilburn and Mrs. April Hopper
of Adairsville; and two grand
children, Beth Hopper and
Samantha Kate Hopper, both
of Adairsville.
The Randolphs reside in
Cumming.

groom is the grandson of Ray

elementary education.
Mr. Higgins is a 2001 grad
uate of Duluth High School
and is attending Covenant
College in Lookout Mountain.
He is pursuing a bachelor’s
degree in business finance. He
serves as a corporal in the
Marine Corps Reserves.
