utes of tap and 25 minutes of
ballet. The technical training is
taught through ballet, which in
turn helps teach the proper
shifting of weight and patterns
in movement for tap. Classes

Tuesdays, starting Dec. 2-Feb.

• Pilates The philosophy
of Pilates focuses on training
the mind and body to work
toward a goal of overall fit
ness. It is a great program for
anyone who wants to tone,
streamline and realign their
body without the bulked up
results of more conventional
methods. Each exercise is an
important movement in and of
itself but can also be a progres
sive move to a more difficult
exercise. Class will be held at
Central Park Recreation
Center on Mondays, starting
Jan. 5, from 7-7:45 p.m. and
Wednesdays, Jan.s, from 10-
10:45 a.m. The fee is SSO for
eight weeks.
• Karate Traditional
Okinawan karate will be
