All classes are free. The amount of time needed for GED preparation depends upon the level and the amount of hours spent in class. The centers open at 9 a.m. Monday-Friday for day stu dents and are open until 8 p.m. for evening instruction. Practice GED tests are offered in writing, social studies, sci ence, reading and math.
