AARP Driver Safety
Program
... a one-day class is being
offered Saturday. Jan. 24,
from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the
Northside Hospital Forsyth,
1400 Northside Medical
Center Dr. in Cumming. This
refresher course is open to
AARP and non-AARP mem
bers. Though the material is
designed primarily for drives
ages 50 and over, younger
drivers may attend. It provides
many ideas on how to avoid
accidents, drive safely and
updates the motor vehicle
laws.
Participants who complete
the eight hours of instruction
are eligible for a discount on
their automobile insurance
premiums. The course must be
renewed every three years. For
