learn a dance choreographed
to a well known musical the
atre tune. This class will pre
pare actors for involvement in
a musical or help you just

• Magic for the Stage
Participants will learn basic
magic as well as the sophisti
cated acting skills necessary to

Department

• Lil’ Rookies Basketball
Clinic will be for ages 5
and 6 year olds. The program
will meet one hour on
Saturdays for six weeks and
will be structured in a clinic- !
type format, with emphasis
placed on teaching basics and
fundamental skills. Openings
are available Jan. 10-Feb. 14.

• Low impact and step aer
obics will be offered
Monday, Wednesday and

Preschoolers can enjoy sto
ries, songs and activities at the
Forsyth County Public Library
this winter. Programs are on
Tuesdays at the Cumming
branch, and on Thursdays at
the Sharon Forks branch,
through Feb. 12. Lapsit, for
ages 2 to 3 (with an adult),
promotes love of language and
early language skills.
Storytime, for ages 4 to 5,
invites children to listen and
learn through picture books
and activities. Registration is
not necessary. Early arrival is
suggested.
