Monday morning. The truck and another vehicle collided sending the truck into the pole. The transformer, which contains refined mineral oil, spilled its contents onto the roadway. About a dozen businesses lost power as a result of the accident. A ceremony on Sunday marked the completion of the new shelter, which includes a library, entertainment room, and a spacious kitchen and dining area. Survivors include her hus band of 58 years, Mr. William Robert Helton of Buford; son and daughter-in-law, Jim and Diana Hplton of Buford; daughter and son-in-law, Patricia Helton and Bruce Rogers of Fremont, Calif.; sis ters, Erma Bull, Charlotte Dunn, both of Wisconsin; three grandchildren; one great grandchild. Funeral services were Monday, March 29, at the First Baptist Church of Buford with the Rev. Charles Gilliland officiating. Interment followed in the Fairview Memorial Gardens in Stockbridge. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the building fund for First Baptist Church of Buford. Byars Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements. He was pre ceded in death by his parents, William Richards Henrich and Evelyn Henrich; and brother, William Henrich. Survivors include his wife, Rosalie, nee Drayer; children, Steven and Debra Henrich, Cynthia Nilson. Susan and Jay Gaudreault, Judith and Michael Chance; grandchil dren, Sarah. Jeff, Carol, Eric, Carrie, Nicholas, Andrea, Matthew. Stacy, Michael; four great-grandchildren; brother and sister-in-law, Ralph and Judith Henrich; many nieces and nephews also survive. Mrs. Meers was a member of Calvary Baptist Church for more than 25 years and attended Austell Senior Citizen’s Center for many years. Survivors include her daughters, Jean Darby of Powder Springs. Patricia Kuter of Cumming; four grandsons, three great-grandsons, brother. Carroll Grainger; many nieces and nephews also survive. Funeral services were Tuesday. March 30. at the Roy Davis Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Bill Rorie offici ating. Interment followed in the Rose Hill Cemetery. Survivors include his chil dren, Hugh and Mary Ann Payne, Reba and Carroll Hamby, all of Cumming; seven grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; son-in law, Earl Pilcher of Cumming; sister and brother-in-law, Nellie Kate and H.C. Williams of Cumming; brothers- and sisters-in-law.
