The AARP Tax Aide
Program

tax service for low income and
senior taxpayers, will be at the
Cumming Public Library on
Thursdays from 10 a.m. to 2
p.m. through April 5. No
appointment necessary, you
just sign-in and taxpayers will
be taken care of in order of
arrival. It is necessary for all
taxpayers using this free serv
ice to bring their Social
Security card(s) along with
last year’s tax returns. This
will assist the Tax-Aide volun
teers in properly completing
this year's returns.

Forsyth County

reading, writing and math

16 who are not enrolled in
public high school. Tutoring is
given on a one-to-one basis
and focuses on the needs of
the student. Some areas of
focus might be job applica
tions, banking materials,
school handbooks, reading to
grandchildren or improving
skills to go on to the GED
program at Lanier Tech. All
the tutoring and supplies are
provided free to the student, as
we are a United Way agency.
