April 25, from 4-7 p.m. • Childbirth Preparation This five-class series, with low instructor to participant ratios, is an overview of w hat to expect and what your options are regarding labor, childbirth and postpartum issues. Taught by internationally certified childbirth educators. We'll offer you the knowledge you need to be an active partici pant in your baby’s birth and allow for practice of the skills that can help to make this experience the wonderful memory you want it to be. This class will be Mondays. April 12, 19 and 26. from 6:30-8:30 p.m. • Weekend Childbirth Preparation This two-ses sion version of our regular Childbirth preparation class for couples who are unable to attend classes for five consec utive weeks. This format is fast-paced and recommended only for those who thrive in an intense, concentrated environ ment. This class has a fee and will be offered Friday, April 23. and Saturday, April 24. • CPR: Infant Be pre pared: Learn CPR and chok ing management techniques for infants (birth to 1 year of age). Certified instructors will also discuss safety measures that may help you to avoid the need for CPR. Note: This class is designed for those who do not need to be CPR certified. This class has a fee and will be offered Sunday, April 25. from 1-3 p.m. • Breastfeeding Moms/Couples This five hour class will briefly discuss the many benefits of breast feeding then focus on the knowledge and skill to help you succeed.
