Walk for Life
... Whispering Hope
Women's Resource and
Pregnancy Center's inaugural
Walk For Life. Saturday. May
8. Registration will begin at 9
a.in. with the walk at 10 a.m.
During that hour one of the
mothers will give her personal
testimony. The walk route
w ill loop around the facility at
133 Samaritan Dr. in
Cumming. We invite you to
take a tour of the center fol
lowing the walk. Whispering
Hope offers compassionate,
confidential counseling and
support services to women in
the community facing unwant
ed or unexpected pregnancy.
This year's Walk For Life will
help raise the necessary' fund
ing to continue providing our
services free of charge to
those in our community.
Special prizes will be aw arded
for the tw o walkers in the fol
lowing age groups w ho raise
the most funding: adult, teen
and child. Pledge forms are
now available, for more infor

Dahlonega Arts Council this

Family YMCA

camp for kids at Eagle Point
on Lake Lanier from 9 a.m. to
4 p.m. May 31-Aug. 6 for
ages 5-12. Extended care
available as early as 7 a.m.
