Forty students recognized by youth leadership program
Forty selected high school students from all three Forsyth County High Schools and Horizon Christian
Academy were recognized at a special graduation ceremony for the Forsyth County Youth Leadership
Program at the Polo Fields Country Club. The program is sponsored by the Cumming-Forsyth County
Chamber of Commerce and builds citizenship practices, an appreciation for involvement in community activi¬
ties and a greater understanding of public decisions.

Incidents of Driver Error is a
two-hour informational ses¬
sion created by the Georgia
Traffic Injury Protection
Institute in an effort to reduce
the number of vehicle crashes
involving teens. Three sher¬
iff’s deputies have been
trained to teach teenagers and
parents crash dynamics, teen
driving facts and statistics, the
graduated driver’s license
process and Georgia’s
Teenage and Adult Driver
