Hospital debuts shuttle service
Bobby Watkins, volunteer driver, and Bill Clements, co-chairman of the shuttle project
for the Medical Center Auxiliary, show off the new Northeast Georgia Medical Center
parking shuttle for patients and visitors. NGMC is now offering a free parking-lot-to
entrance shuttle for patients and visitors to their Main Campus. "We hope the shuttle
will be helpful for people who may be ill or elderly, but not necessarily disabled
enough to use a handicapped parking space,” says Lynne Allen, director of Volunteer
Services at NGMC.
