Unicoi State Park & Lodge is partnering with the White County Chamber of Commerce and the Alpine Helen/White County CVB to host the “Festival of Trees” from Nov. 26 through Dec. 10. Visitors can choose their favorite tree and place a bid on it. The winning bids will be announced Saturday, Dec. 10 and the winners will take home the decorated trees and trimmings. WinterFest at Tanglewood Farm ... step back in time to the 1800s and visit Christmas past in this Wild West town. The family fun day is sponsored by New Balance Athletic Shoe, Inc., Girls on the Run Forsyth and the Shops of Shakerag.
