Students With Hearing
Loss
... local deaf and hard-of
hearing students and their
families are invited to attend
a free college information
reception sponsored by the
National Technical Institute
for the Deaf at Rochester
(N.Y.) Institute of
Technology.
The event will be held
from 7-9 p.m. on Monday,
Dec. 5, at the Atlanta
Marriott Northwest, 220
Interstate North Parkway in
Atlanta.
The event will include a
brief presentation, question
and answer time with
RIT/NTID alumni, and an
opportunity to meet with
other students and families
from the area. Deaf and
hard-of-hearing students at
NTID and RIT can earn
degrees in more than 200
programs. The college also
provides a variety of support
and access services to assist
deaf and hard-of-hearing stu¬
dents. More than 1,100 deaf
students from around the
world study, live and social¬
ize with 14,400 hearing stu¬
dents on RIT’s Rochester,
