Seniors and Lawmen
Together
... S.A.L.T., a group com¬
mitted to preventing the actual
and feared victimization of
senior citizens, consists of a
partnership between the
Forsyth County Sheriff’s
Office, the Cumming Police
Department, and the Forsyth
County Senior Center. The
group is run by the S.A.L.T.
Advisory Council, a group of
committed, motivated senior
volunteers who decide upon
programs that will benefit sen¬
iors and advise law enforce¬
ment on the special needs of
seniors in the community. The
next meeting is at 10 a m. Feb.
20 at the Cumming Police
Department (301 Veterans
Memorial Boulevard).
