Lambert lassos Longhorns
Student advisory committee
picks school mascot, colors

Forsyth County’s fifth
public high school will take
a beefed-up approach to ath¬
letics, now that Lambert
High has decided .to steer
toward the Longhorn as its
mascot.
Gary Davison, who will
be Lambert’s principal on
opening day in fall 2009, is
already well aware of the

now fielding boys and girls teams, lacrosse is
on the move locally. This year, the Forsyth

“What the committee
loved was the idea of alliter¬
ation, so they wanted

North took three.
Three honorable mentions were also select
ed from each of the girls’ teams.
All-county selections were made by the
lacrosse coaches from all three schools.

The First camp is for boys ages 9-
12 and will be conducted from 9
a.m. - 11:30 a.m. each day. The
second camp is for boys age 13-14
and will be conducted from 1 p.m.
