... Melody Baeza, a 2006
graduate of Forsyth Central
High School, received the
2007 S. Truett Cathy
Scholarship Award from
Chick-fil-A Inc. She was one
of 25 selected nationwide for
the award, based on academic
achievements and community
involvement. In addition to
the $1,000 award, she also
received a leadership scholar¬
ship for $ 1,000.
Baeza, a sophomore
majoring in polymer, fiber
and textile engineering, was
nominated by Mike Ridzon,
owner of the Lanier Crossing
Chick-fil-A.
University of Georgia
