Office Citizens’ Law
Enforcement Academy
... is a free nine-week
course that meets from 7-10
p.m. on consecutive Mondays.
The academy is open to all
Forsyth County residents,
employees and business own¬
ers and provides students with
hands-on training and law
enforcement knowledge. The
course is run by the Forsyth
County Sheriff’s Office, and
all instructors in this program
are Forsyth County Sheriff’s
Office employees.

Hemophilia of Georgia

Annual Hit ’Em for
Hemophilia Golf Tournament
to Raise Funds for Hemophilia
Research on Oct. 28 at
Chateau Elan Winery and
Resort in Braselton. The tour¬
nament supports critical
research directed toward find¬
ing a cure for hemophilia, a
hereditary blood clotting dis¬
order that requires very expen¬
sive, life-long medical treat¬
ment. Hemophilia of Georgia
is a nonprofit organization
dedicated to providing servic¬
es and support for Georgians
who have hemophilia, von
Willebrand Disease, and other
inherited bleeding disorders.
