for nearly 70 years, the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra has been delighting
audiences with classical music performances. This summer is no exception.
With performances from nationally known artists such as Jackie Evancho
and 11 Divo to high-spirited fare such as the music of Abba and Beatles
cover artists, the symphony offers something for everyone. Besides world
class musical performances, guests can also enjoy Fanfare, three-course,
gourmet buffet prior to most evening performances.

Atlanta Cyciorama & Civil War Museum
Home to Zoo Atlanta, Grant Park also houses the Atlanta Cyciorama &
Livt! War Museum. Its most noted attraction is the Atlanta Cyciorama. in
fhich guests take a stirring journey through time as they sit in the middle
F a sweeping panorama of the Battle of Atlanta, which was fought on July
p, 1864. The Cyciorama painting is 42 feet tall and 358 feet in circumfer
Ice, and is said to be the largest painting in the world. It offers breathtak
|g realism enhanced by a foreground of three-dimensional figures and ter-
rain, music and narration. The museum also has on display many artifacts
from the war, including a steam locomotive known as the Texas, a veteran of
the Great Locomotive Chase of 1862.

Now celebrating its fifth year of music, Verizon W'ireless Amphitheatre at
Encore Park has proudly watched world class performers take the stage,
