D a d d Crant was horn in Forsyth ! County to the late Roy and Bessie Samples and was a lifelong member of Cross Roads Baptist Church. Crant was a farmer most of his life and loved the outdoors. He was also one of the original found¬ ers of Lanierland Music Park in Cumming and was a Mason for many years. He was preceded in death by his wife, Kathleen Samples; infant son, Dennis Samples; brothers. Junior Samples, R.B. Samples, Eugene Samples. He is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, M a r I a a n d B o b b y Gazaway ; son and daugh¬ ter-in-law. Randy and Donna Samples; grand¬ children, Shane and Renee Gazaway, Blake and Lauren Samples, Taylor Samples, Amanda and Heath Roper; sister and brother-in-law, Thelma and Boh Glover; brother and sister-in-law, Harold and Peggy Samples; sisters-in-law, Louise Samples, Evelyn Samples; numerous niec¬ es, nephews and other rel¬ atives also survive. Funeral services will he held Sunday, Dec. 30, at 2 p.m. at Cross Roads Baptist Church. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. Forsyth County Nows December 30, 2012 Sue Carol Wilson Sue Carol Wilson, age 66. of Cumming passed away Dec. 6, 2012, after a battle with breast cancer that she faced with a strong will and on her own terms. Born in Hudson, N.Y., April 23, 1946. Sue made her mark in North Carolina and Texas before taking Cumming by storm. Sue turned her own life tragedies into a driving force to provide help for others. She dreamt of, developed, and grew her Forsyth County non-prof¬ it organization. Garden of Empowerment. She used her organization as a plat¬ form for her mission in life to help women move forward after divorce, separation, or widow¬ hood. Sue had a deep love for qU John L. She leaves behind her loving son, Marc; daugh¬ ter-in-law Jennine, who thought of her as a moth¬ er; two grandsons, Ethan and Tyler, who will always remember trips with grandma for all-you can-eat fried chicken and dollar store shopping sprees; precious grand¬ daughter, Emily, who loved blowing bubbles with grandma on her front lawn and having story time by the fire¬ place; as well as her brother, Ray, who still calls New York home, but always stayed in touch. The number of friends she leaves behind is countless and each one held a special place in her heart, and her in theirs, Following her wishes, a celebration of her life will he held in her honor where she hopes for all of her friends and family to remember the good times and share happy memo¬ ries.
