Death at Gainesville car

GAINESVILLE — Police
are investigating the shooting
death of a 42-year-old man
whose body was found Friday
morning at the car dealership
where he worked.
Police have identified the
man as Charles Weaver of
Gainesville.

p in. Jan. 8 in the Lanier
Technical College Forsyth
Conference Center, 3410
Ronald Reagan Blvd.
The meeting is one of
eight being held throughout
the state seeking input on
development of hunting
regulations for the 2013-14
and 2014-15 hunting sea¬
sons.

a Schnauzer while

gle in the dog's fur. She
reported the incident
from Northside
Hospital-Forsyth, where
she received several
stitches on her bottom
lip.

48-year-old Cumming
woman was arrested
for DUI on Dec. 23 at
the sheriff's north pre¬
cinct on Keith Bridge
Road after she drove
there from a Christmas
party.The woman want¬
ed to report that her
husband had hit her
after reportedly telling
her she was driving the
wrong way home.

man was arrested for

from the store.
Golden state scam —
An 82-year-old woman
reported Dec. 18 that
she'd been a victim of
fraud.The woman said
a woman claiming to
be her grandson's
attorney and asked her
over the phone to wire
$1,700 to settle an
accident he had just
caused in California.
After wiring the
money, the woman
discovered her grand¬
son wasn't in
California nor asking
for money.

Weaver was an employee of
the dealership, where managers
there called him part of the
"work family."
A social media page that
appears to belong to Weaver
states he worked in shipping
and receiving with the Carriage
Automotive Group and went to
Johnson High School.
Police are investigating with
