FISHING REPORT
Bass biting well on variety of lures
Bass: The colder air
temperatures have
affected anglers more
than the fish and the
bass are biting well.
I have seen two
reports of separate tour
naments that have
weighed in spotted bass
over six pounds and one
recent tournament was
won with five spotted
bass that weighed close
to 25 pounds. That is a
five-pound average per
fish. That is an incredi
ble day of fishing for
anyone.
Water Conditions:
Water temperatures are
in the low 50s. The lake
level has risen consider
ably in the last month
and is at 1,062.09 feet
or 8.91 below a full
pool of 1,071, so we are
moving in the right
direction.
The main lake water
is slightly stained and
the creeks and rivers are
stained to very stained
in the backs. The
Chattahoochee River
below Buford dam is
stained.

Dance Dawgs take first at KSU
From staff reports
The Forsyth Central Dance
team earned first place in the
Kick category at the
Kennesaw State University
Dance Invitational on Jan 12.
The dance trio of Caroline
Loveless (junior), Ricki-
Chandler Adams (sophomore)
and Emily Ponder (freshman)
also placed third in the small
group category with their lyri
cal dance routine.
This was the second year for
Dance Dawgs to participate in
the competitive, 17-team KSU
Invitational.
Competitions are judged on
criteria such as technique,
uniformity, difficulty and
transitions.
The award-winning Dance
Dawgs team is coached by
Amy Gravitt and Leah Heisler.
The team promotes the art of
dance and enhances school
spirit through participation and
performing at school and com

Usually bait fish are
