Brian Wilson was recently honored for com pletingthe National Fire Academy’s Exgcutive Fire Officer Program. The ‘program provides participants with a broad perspective on various fac ets of;fire and emergency services administration. Over a four-year span, they complete resident graduate-level and upper-level college equivalent courses-and research. Wilson, who works in the training divi sion g@nd has been with the department since 2000, is one of just 53 fire fightegdlin Georgia to ever complete the program. (Big Daddy) Pounds Sr., age 91, of Cumming passed away Saturday, June 27, 2015. . A-U.S. Army veteran, Mr. Pounds served in World War 11. He was a for mer member and Ordained Deacon at Sylvan Hills Baptist Church and cur rently a member of First Baptist Church of Cumming. Mr. Pounds retired after 44 years -with NABISCO.
