Rosenberger is playing
for her high school team
this spring. -
This high school season
is the. first in which the
U.S. Soccer Development
Academy, a new, more
demanding level of club
play, is an option for girls
players. Three major area
club programs - United
Futbol Academy, Tophat
and Concorde Fire — have
DA teams, and players
who join are prohibited
from playing high school
soccer. That has taken
much of the top talent in
the county, including
three players who played
for West last year, away
from high school pro
grams.
Young shot 7 of 13 and
made a pair of 3-pointers
in the first half. It’s just
the sixth time he’s scored
20 points this season, the
previous occasion a home
win against Orlando on
Jan. 27.
Backup forward
Domantas Sabonis led the
Pacers with 21 points and
13 rebounds for his 13th
double-double of the sea
son. Six Pacers scored in
double digits.
“I think everybody has
missed each other,”
Sabonis said of the first
game in nine days due to
the All-Star break.
Hawks reserve guard

NBA game.
“A lot of credit to
Indiana, the way they
play is impressive,”
Hawks coach Mike
Budenholzer said. “I
liked our team better in
the second half, I thought
we were more competi
tive, more together — but
you can’t wait until half--
time to get to that mind
set.”

exception. She left UFA
last year to join Atlanta
Fire, a team that plays in
the Elite Clubs National

that team so well that she,
decided not to pursue
playing at the DA level.
“I just grew to love my
team so much,”
Rosenberger said. “I
thought about coming
back (to UFA), but this
team and my club team, I
didn’t want to leave them.
It’s just so much fun.”
