Ope’, ope’, thou earth, in frightful chasms wide, And thou, O fca, press in a dreadful tide, ’Till the gross matter dread the course purfu’d : You’re not unkind as—black ingratitude. Sun, Sun, unto the day deny thy light; And thou, Diana, to the fable night; You too, ye liars of every magnitude; You’re not unkind as—black ingratitude.
