MARRIED.} Last Thursday evening, at Col. Marbury*s, ! in this town, by the Rev. Doctor Boyd, Colonel Richard Call, to the amiable Miss Alethea Anderson Jones ; a Lady endowed with every accomplilhment to render the marriage (late happy. * Augufia , November 13, 1786. ROBERT FORSYTH, and f tl l uires * EDWARD TELFAIR, ) Ordered, That the Clerk make out a Lir and correct copy I of the Minutes and Proceedings of the Board, inserting in I their proper, places all talcs of lots, with the name or names I of the purchasers, diftinguilhing the fame by inserting the I ftrect or streets on which the said lots may he, together with I the uumber and the sum or sums paid or to be paid for each lot. Ordered, That the falc of all lots already fold bepoftponed I until the second Monday in December next. And that the I Clerk receive of the purchasers the monies required in part I payment of the principal, and the whole of the interest, agree- I ably to the order of the Board of the 13th September lalt, I until the aforefaid period. Ordered , That twenty Lots, agreeably to the annexed plan, 1 be exposed to public fale* on the second Monday in December I next, under the following regulations : Each purchaser lhall lign an obligation with fccurity in the I following words : “ These are to certify that we have this day pur- I chafed a lot in the town of Augusta, on street, No. I for which said premises we hereby bind and oblige onrfclvcs I jointly and severally, and each of our heirs, executors and I administrators, to pay to I Commissioners and Trudies, or their fucceflors in office, I within three months, the just and full sum of land in case the coulideration money be not paid on that day, I the aforefaid premises lhall be let up within three days here- I after, and in calc ol any deficiency between such l’ale, and ■ the original contrail, We do hereby bind and oblige our ■ selves to make good such deficiency. Witncfs our hands and Ifeals this day of . 178 .** WHEREAS this Board on the 14th day of August Jaftpaft, ■ did agree to certain conditions for the finilhing the church in- r ■ tended to be completed in this town, with Colonel Mead ; ■who, having failed in giving bond and security for the true Hand faithful performance, and otherwise neglecting to perform ■ any part of the aforefaid work, It is therefore ordered , That the completing of the said ■Church be set up on Monday next, at Fox’s Tavern, to the ■lowest bidder, on the following terms : A bond ami security in judgment for the performance of ■the work, will be required of the person undertaking the ■fame. Ordered , r*ir HAT the Diftrids for holding the Courts of Confciencc be as follows : The lower diftrid, called Augusta, be ginning at the Burke county line, and running up river to Glover’s old plantation, then along the ridge lead ing from said plantation between the waters of Reed’s and Uchee creeks, to the heads thereof, thence along said road to the Sand Hill Old Mill, and along said road to where it interfeds the Burke county line, the Court for which Diftrid {hall be held at Augusta, called the Kiokee diftrid. The Middle Diftrid lhall begin at the aforefaid plantation v running up- Savannah river to the mouth of Cagg creek, thence up said creek to the head thereof, and thence along t:;e ridge which divides the waters of Green, Brier, Germa ney’s creeks, and Kiokee, to Wilkes county line, the Court to be held at the Court House, ou Little Kiokee,' for said Diftrid. The Upper Diftrid, called Wrightfborough diftrid, (hall be gin at the mouth of the aforefaid Cagg creek, thence running up Little river to the mouth of Williams’s creek, thence up said creek to Wilkes county line, the Court for which Diftrid (hall be held at the town of Wrightlborough.
