JRicbelt garments of ejicreafc,
To enrobe thee, lovely Spring !

Sweetly bloom the groves and bowers.
Nature dressing cv’ry thing;
Flora culling choicest flowers,
To adorn thee, charming Spring 1
With enchanting notes around,
How the woods in concert ring!
WhiHl the choristers resound,
Welcomes to delightful Spring.
Love re-echoes o’er the plain,
Colin does of Fhilis ling;
[ Fhilis liflens to the drain,
Colin names her with the Spring.

Mirth and Innocency join,
To compose the sportive ring,
Till loud Pecans wake the Nine,
To the lofty praise of Spring.
Music captivates the ear.
Vibrates on the trembling firing }
Health and beauty now appear,
At the tuneful found of Spring .

? Be thy transports always new,
they never take the wing;
Never let me bid adieu,
‘ To such joys as these of Spring•
