A correspondent observes, that the general ferment which has been excited in France among all the orders of the people has pro bably inclined that Court to withdraw from their engagements in favour of the Dutch Pa triots ; and England, knowing that the Stadt hoider, with his Pruflian auxiliary, is ade quate to the total fubje&iou of that ill-fated party, contentedly remains neutral, enjoying the domestic troubles of her neighbours. WE, the Delegates of the people of the •State of Georgia, iu Convention met, taken into our serious consi deration the Federal Constitution, agreed upon aqd prqpofed by the Deputies of the United States in General Convention, held in the city of Philadelphia, on the seventeenth day of September, in the year of our Lord one thousand seven hundred and eighty-seven, HAVE afiented to, ratified and adopted, and by these presents DO, in virtue of the powers and authority to US given by the people of the said Stare for that purpose, for, and in behalf of ourselves and our couftituents, fully and entirely aflent to, ratify and adopt the said Constitution, which is hereunto annexed, Under the Great Seal of the said State noNfi, in Convention, at Augusta, in the said State, on rhe second day of January, in the year of our Lord one thousand seven hundred and eighty-eight, and of the Inde pendence of the United States the Twelfth.
