pence for every hundred pounds value of all
lands within this State, granted to, or fur
oeyed, for any person; as such lands rtiall be

All tide swamp, (including islands) culti
vated or uncultivated) of the firfli quality, (hall
be rated at four pounds feveuteen (hiHings per
acre.
Os the second quality, three pounds.
Os the third quality, one pound feveuteen

All pine batren lands adjoining such swamp,
dr contiguous thereto, and within three miles
of water carriage, fifteen /hillings.
All prime inland swamp, cultivated or un
cultivated, at an average of three pounds k

All pine barren lands, adjoining or conti
guous thereto, seven (hillings.

That the sum of five (hillings (hall be levied
on all free ma e white persons from the age of
twenty-one years and upwards in this flare;
asdtbe sum of five (hillings on all Negroes and
other (laves whatsoever within the limits

and fix-pence for every one hundred pound*
value of every lot, wharf, or other laadty
