The Commissioners flatter themselves that

lity to a retired spot, immediately under
the attention and watchful eye of a Ikillful
and diligent profeffor, would be a iufficicnt
inducement for the encouragement of the fame
without mentioning the surprising effcfts of
this medicinal spring. Mr. Blackburn, wh&
l e/ides at the place, and several refpetf able cha
racter's who live convenient, will take boarder*
(finding their own lodging and candles) at
the rate of fix teen pounds a year, paid qurterly
in specie, produce, or paper medium at its
real Value. Price demanded by the Comniif
fioners lor tuition-—reading, writing, or cy
phering, two dollars specie paid
and for the languages, fix.

that concern, whether contracted payable to
me or to Thomas Gordon! and Thomas Con
nell, will implicitly follow laid Mr. Thomas
Gordon’s inftru&ions in the payment agree
able to the undernoted advertisement, for any
debts due to Gordon and Conneh, or a con*
; ceru in which said Mr. Thomas Gordon and
I were both connected under the firm of Con*
nell, Brown & Co.
