RUN away from the Subscriber, early
in tbe last spring, as he repeatedly
had done before, a N:gro fellow named
jEMMY, about five feet fix or seven
inches high, will at times change his own
as he will his mailer’s name, (peaks bad
£ng}i<l|, and might be taken for an almost
new negro, but is very plausible and
artful, has his country (Ebo) marks on
111 £
.hi* face thus 111 IB* or thus £ 5,
and is well known about Spirit Creek,
having been twice taken at the plantation
of Mr. William Boftick, and was very
lately taken up by Capt. M‘Gee.
Likewise run away from the Subscriber,
in the month of July 1785, and supposed
to be somewhere in the back country, a
new negro of .the fame nation, known by
the name of JOE, about twenty-two years
of age, very black and fimrt, not much
above five feet high, well made, and of
a pleasant countenance, speaks little or
110 Englilh, but upon being questioned of
his prelent or late owner, (Mr, Francis
Courvoilie) or his comrade Heitor, will
in all probability be easily discovered ; his
name may be now changed. Whoever
will deliver the said negroes, in Savaunah, ~
or to the Hon. Col. Fiftibourn in Augusta,
(hall receive a Reward of EIGHT DOL
LARS for each, and the sum of FIVE
POUNDS will be given on information
