Thirteenth Anniversary.
The Lane Star Cadets celebrated their
13th anniverasary on Monday last with
a street parade in the afternoon, and a
festival ami prize drill in the evening
at their armory. A number of guests
were present and all seemed to have en
joyed themselves.

On Friday a reception was tendered
the young couple in Atlanta at the res
idence of Mr, R. J. Henry by the mar
ried Ladies Club’in connection with the
young people, Among those present
were Miss Lizzie Manly a charming
young lady and accomplished pianist of
Griffin, who enlivened the occasion with
some excellent music, and Messrs - Mark
Taylor of Rome, and Andrew Rogers of
Marietta well-known society gentle
