REPORT OF TROOP 47
The Scouts of Troop 47 meet
every Friday at Asbury church.
The meetings are opened by

are collected. The boys go to
the patrol corners. After a
while they play games. Our
Scout master, Mr. Blackshear,
has moved to New York. He
was in the city last week and
came to our meeting, he gave
us a very interesting talk
and about New York. Our Jun
ior Asst. Scoutmaster carries on
the meetings and the boys are
cooperating very well. We
have four patrols in our troop,
who are as follows: the Cobra,
the Bat, the Panthan, and the
Pine tree patrols. The patrol
leaders are Albert Bryant of
the Cobra patrol, Herbert Hard
wick of the Bat patrol, Edward
Ford of the Panthan patrol and
John Grant of the Pine Tree
patrol. We have three eagle
[ Scouts in our troop, they are F.
A. Blackshear, Lester Johnson
and William Payne. James

donate $25 to the USO-YMCA
local sponsors for the purpose
of helping to pay off the debt
on the beautiful TJSO building,

placed in the USO reading room
