L. M. M.—Reading your col-
umn is one of the
of my life. My husband is away
working and he wants me to
come to him. What shall I
do try to keep our furniture
here in our house or store it
some place? 1 don’t want to
get rid of the furniture.
Ans.: Moving rum:lure around
abuses it more than the wear
and tear it would ordinarily re-
ceive in constant use.
the place out. You have a verv
nice home. Be unusually care-
ful in choosing a tenant whom
you know to be reliable. Your
husband will never bo satisfied
living away from you. Make
this change just as soon as you
settle your affairs there at home
L. M. „._______ J—I am a young _____ _ girl D __
of 20. I promised a soldier I
would wait for him who is now
across the sea. I now go with
another one who is much older
and he gives me anything I
want. He have set me down
since I met him 7 months ago.
He also asked me to marry him
but I like the young soldier.

your advice about the two sol-,
diers. ;

fat . . a line ambition for a
girl of twenty! You young
girls must get the idea out of
your head that your obligation
your country begins and ends
with pacifying a soldier's
yearning for love. Shame on
Be honest with yourself,
do you think it’s fair to your
soldier boy overseas to betray
his trust in you by living a life
of aimless pleasure and selfish
ness while he risks his life on
the battlefield? If you love
this young soldier and expect
to be his wife. . prove yourself
.
worthy of his love by going to
work and living a respectable
life

says she loves me but she is

ing of quitting her. Should I
depend on her for a wife?
